  • Korowa VCE Music Performance - Sunday 14 October 2018

    This concert provided a lovely opportunity for a number of Korowa VCE Music solo performance students to present their work. We were delighted with the high standard of the girls performance, and the variety of the program.

  • An international Musical journey - Sunday 16th SeptembeR

    Celebrated European lyric soprano Simone Riksman took us on an international musical journey with accompanist Calvin Bowman. Simone sang the beautiful songs of England's Roger Quilter, Aaron Copeland from America, and Australian composers Calvin Bowman and Ross Edwards.

    St Oswald's presents El Maestro Argentino by the Tango Chamber.

    A Tango Nuevo concert focusing in on repertoire by Astor Piazzolla and those influenced by his style Paquito d’Rivera and Richard Galliano. Also performing a selection of old tangos and tango composition by bassist Philip McLeod

  • Gala Concert and CD Launch Sunday 22 July

    The Oswald's was the venue for a special event to celebrate the art songs of great Australian Composer, Dr Calvin Bowman. 

    The Gala Concert featured outstanding Australian soloists Sara Macliver (soprano), Paul McMahon (tenor), and Christopher Richardson (bass baritone), accompanied by Ian Munro and Calvin Bowman himself. The CD "Real and Right and True" was launched by Julian Burnside AO QC.

  • Music for Two Flutes: Peter Sheridan and Lisa-Maree Amos

    Sunday, 17 June – Peter Sheridan and Lisa-Maree Amos have toured and played together extensively in Australia and internationally. They played a range of flutes from the piccolo to contra-bass flutes. They explored the full flute repertoire. There was also the first Australian performance of the Monster Tryptych by Houston Dunleavy with words by Laura Goodin.

    Well-known Australian pianist John Martin presented a colourful journey through musical styles, with classical favourites, ragtime, jazz, songs and even a poem or two, all laced with anecdotes.

  • Michael Kieran Harvey

    Sunday, 15 April - a piano recital by the internationally renowned Michael Kieran Harvey. His career is notable for its diversity and wide repertoire. Clive O’Connell, writing in The Age said,” Few Australian pianists can touch Michael Kieran Harvey, one of the most exciting exponents of contemporary music in the country”
