2018 Sunday Afternoon Concert Series

The Sunday Afternoon Concert Series at St. Oswald’s Church will continue in 2018 with a range of exciting concerts curated by our Musical Director Dr Houston Dunleavy.

Dates for your 2018 diary

  • Vox - Sunday 18th March at 2:30pm

    Sunday, 18 March - the concert will be given by VOX, a brilliant a cappella choral ensemble of 8 voices from Ballarat, who sing and have recorded Handel, Bach, Monteverdi and other wonderful music. They have a great reputation for music making across Victoria.

  • Michael Kieran Harvey - Sunday 15th April 2:30pm

    Sunday, 15 April - a piano recital by the internationally renowned Michael Kieran Harvey. His career is notable for its diversity and wide repertoire. Clive O’Connell, writing in The Age said,” Few Australian pianists can touch Michael Kieran Harvey, one of the most exciting exponents of contemporary music in the country”

  • John Martin - Sunday 20th May 2:30pm

    Sunday, 20 May - This concert will feature pianist John Martin. He is one of Australia’s most diverse, sensitive, award-winning pianists. He plays for recitals, ensembles, and classical concerts through to jazz, popular music & cabaret. John’s “warm, vibrant personality & eclectic performance skills are legendary.”

  • The Married Flutes. Peter Sheriden and Lisa-Maree Amos - sunday 17th June 2:30pm

    Sunday, 17 June – this concert showcases the Married Flutes. Peter Sheriden and Lisa-Maree Amos have toured and played together extensively in Australia and internationally. They play a range of flutes from the piccolo to contra-bass flutes. Together with guitar and piano, they will explore the full flute repertoire.
